The annual HNC year-end review
was held on December-10th -11th at The Lin Hotel in Taichung in 2022.
In this meeting, several healthcare professionals from different disciplinaries digested the best science from the global congresses this year and had a wonderful discussion. Also, Dr. Meng-Che Hsieh also shared his inspiring recent research on Cetuximab treatment beyond progression in R/M HNSCC patients. Prof. Ezra Cohen also joined the meeting and talked about future Perspectives on HNC treatment, showing that IAPs (e.g. xevinapant) might be a groundbreaking weapon for LA SCCHN treatment in the future. Besides, communication skills were also included in this meeting. Dr. Yeong Yuh Chung provides several tips for young talents to apply in their daily practice, building a better relationship between patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Last but not the least, prof. Hong-Ming Wang presented a nice case to the MDTs. The young talents shared and discussed their perspectives and decisions at every decision-making point, learning from their peers and senior experts. A total of 80 HCPs came from all around Taiwan, enjoyed the science, and built strong connections with other others.
